Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced that he is withdrawing from the race for the Republican presidential nomination. According to him, his campaign has no clear path to presidential success.
"If I could have done something for a favorable outcome, more stops, more interviews, I would have done it, but I cannot ask our supporters to voluntarily spend their time and donate their resources if we do not have a clear path to victory. Accordingly, I am ending my campaign today," DeSantis said.
At the same time, he supported former President Donald Trump in the presidential race.
"I am proud to have fulfilled 100% of my promises and I am not going to stop there. It's clear to me that the majority of voters in the Republican primary want to give Donald Trump another chance. ... Although I had my differences with Donald Trump, he is superior to the current president, Joe Biden. That's obvious," DeSantis said.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
