Romanian protesters are planning to block the third checkpoint near the border with Ukraine. The action is expected to take place near the Halmeu-Dyakovo checkpoint in the morning of January 18. This is reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

The blockade was organized by Romanian truckers and farmers.

According to Ukrainian customs officials, the situation may affect the movement of trucks, but not the movement of cars and buses through this checkpoint.

"The protesters are planning to block truck traffic, so the movement of freight transport may be temporarily restricted or blocked. At the same time, the blockade does not apply to the movement of cars and buses," the statement said.

Thus, the service called on international carriers to take the situation into account.
