Germany has handed over a new military aid package to Ukraine. It includes shells, drones, Marder combat vehicles and Gepard systems. This is reported by the German government.
The new military package includes:
- ammunition for Leopard 1A5 tanks;
- 25 RQ-35 Heidrun reconnaissance drones;
- 8 armored personnel carriers;
- 16 Mercedes-Benz Zetros fuel trucks;
- 5 vehicles for border guards;
- 3 civilian vehicles;
- 50 SatCom communication terminals;
- 500 LED lamps;materials for the disposal of explosive ordnance;
- almost 2 thousand M92 combat helmets.
The German government also noted that the new aid package includes 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles and 15 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns.
