The Finnish government has decided to extend the closure of the borders with Russia for another month. Preliminary, the borders will be closed until February 11. This was stated by the Minister of the Interior of Finland Mari Rantanen in the Yle publication.


"National security is the most important issue for Finland," she said, explaining the decision.


The minister added that the reasons for the decision to close the border remain unchanged, and the situation is not expected to change.
