A court has arrested the property of Lviv businessman Ihor Hrynkevych, who was at the center of a scandal over military procurement and offered anti-corruption investigators half a million dollars in bribes.
According to the SBI press service, law enforcement officers conducted searches at the businessman's home and workplace, as well as at the directors and offices of companies controlled by the businessman, as part of an investigation into the supply of goods for the needs of the Defense Ministry.
"To ensure compensation for damages, the court seized real estate, premium-class vehicles owned by the businessman's family, as well as property and accounts of companies controlled by him," the statement said.
In addition, law enforcement officers received expert opinions that found that all products supplied by the businessman's companies in 2023 did not meet quality characteristics and were not suitable for use by the Armed Forces.
