As of the morning of Tuesday, January 9, five versions of the draft law on mobilization were registered in the Verkhovna Rada - one governmental and four alternative versions. This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
"The deadline for submitting alternative draft laws has expired today, so this is probably the entire list. In addition, according to the rules of procedure, we can start considering the law from today. At least in the committee," he said.
The MP also added that the draft law on mobilization is currently being discussed in private with the Speaker of the Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk and the factions.
"The Committee on Defense has already been scheduled for 10:00 a.m., where a decision on the draft law will be made. However, it is still unknown what it will be," Zheleznyak summarized.
