Students take part in protests against election fraud in Serbia

A group of Serbian students gathered today in front of the building of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in Belgrade, demanding access to the voter lists. This was reported by Radio Free Europe.

The students said they wanted to open the voter list for verification after local and European observers of the December 17 elections in Serbia expressed doubts about its accuracy.

At noon, the students began blocking the building of the Ministry of Public Administration, and later announced another location where they plan to hold protests.

Earlier it was announced that the blockade would last six hours, and students from the University of Novi Sad would join the action in Belgrade.

We also reported earlier that in Belgrade, protesters against the election results gathered near the city administration building and tried to break through. Police responded with tear gas, Radio Liberty reports.
