Al Araby TV network aired a story about the alleged participation of Ukrainians in the ranks of the Israeli Defense Forces in military operations in the Gaza Strip. However, Ukraine did not send any Armed Forces personnel to the region in the Middle East. This was reported on Twitter (X) by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleh Nikolenko.

"Ukraine did not send its soldiers to the Gaza Strip or any other region of the world. The Ukrainian army defends its territory from Russian aggression," the official emphasized.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson, reacting to the Arab media story, suggested that the footage could show people of Slavic appearance or Israeli citizens of Ukrainian origin.
"Alaraby TV may be talking about Israeli citizens of Ukrainian or Slavic origin, but they have nothing to do with the Ukrainian state," Nikolenko said in a statement.
The speaker added that the Ukrainian side hopes for peace in the Middle East as soon as possible.
