John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator for the US National Security Council, said at a briefing that the US could guarantee military support for Ukraine for several more weeks. According to him, this is "a matter of concern."

"We have a few more weeks, and then we are 'running out of options' when it comes to helping Ukraine," he said.

According to Kirby, there is "strong bipartisan support in Congress, but there is a small group of Republicans who are willing to hold everyone hostage to support a pretty extreme border policy."
