The intelligence confirms the liquidation of the scandalous former MP Ilya Kiva and calls on all traitors to surrender to Ukrainian justice for their own safety. Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said this during a telethon.
"Now we can confirm and state the fact (of Kiva's liquidation - ed.). And to notice, to appeal to other collaborators and traitors, war criminals - the safest way for you is to surrender to the Ukrainian justice group. Especially when you already have a sentence," Yusov said.
And this, he said, will really guarantee the traitors the observance of their rights, security, and regular meals. Unlike the dangerous presence near the aggressor state.
"As for fair punishment, it will certainly catch up with every criminal," the GUR representative said.
Answering the question of why there is so little footage of Kiva's liquidation online, Yusov said that this incident is quite painful and sensitive for Russian propagandists.
"Ilya Kiva was one of the faces of russian propaganda lately. And, of course, this story is particularly painful and sensitive for Russian propagandists, and its excessive popularization. That's why we may be seeing such results," the Ukrainian intelligence official added.
Yesterday, we reported that a Russian TV channel, citing sources, said that the body of former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva was found in the Moscow region. This was reported by REN TV.
