Hamas militants today announced their readiness to release 10 more Israeli hostages. Previous statements by the parties spoke of eight hostages and the return of three bodies. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
A Hamas source said that today, as part of a one-day extension of the ceasefire, 10 Israeli hostages will be released from the Gaza Strip, two of whom have Russian citizenship.
Previous statements by the parties said that eight hostages and three bodies would be returned today.
"All of them are alive... Last night, Israel rejected the list proposed by Hamas, which included (the return of) three bodies," the source said.
A senior Hamas representative also confirmed the return of the bodies of the three dead hostages.
