SBU blew up Baikal-Amur highway - media

The Security Service of Ukraine set off an explosion on the Baikal-Amur highway in Buryatia, the only serious route between Russia and China. This was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.

According to the source, the explosion occurred in the Bessolov Severomuysky Tunnel in Buryatia on the night of November 30. 4 explosive devices went off while a freight train was moving.

"In fact, this is the only serious railway connection between Russia and China. And now this route, which Russia uses, in particular, for military supplies, is paralyzed," the publication reports.

According to the sources, the explosion is another special operation of the SBU, although the special service has not officially commented on this.

The FSB is now working at the scene, and the railway workers are trying to minimize the consequences of the special operation.
