Change of date: release of hostages from Gaza rescheduled for November 24

The day of release of hostages held in the Gaza Strip has been postponed to Friday, November 24. This was stated by the head of the Israeli National Security Council, Tzachi Hanegbi, in The Times of Israel.

"The release will begin in accordance with the original agreement between the parties, and not before Friday," Hanegbi said.

He explained that the delay was due to the need to sign a document between Israel and Hamas ratifying the agreement. It should be signed within 24 hours, after which the first hostages will be released.
