The Pechersk court held a hearing to choose a preventive measure for People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky, who was suspected of treason. The court sent MP Dubinsky to a pre-trial detention center for two months until January 12, 2024, without the right to be released on bail. This was announced by the People's Deputy himself following the hearing, which lasted until late at night. 

The Prosecutor General's Office confirmed that Dubinsky was taken into custody for 60 days without the right to be released on bail. 

As a reminder, Oleksandr Dubinsky is accused of carrying out information and subversive activities in favor of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, he had the call sign "Pinocchio" and was a member of a criminal organization formed by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. Dubinsky is alleged to have spread fakes about Ukraine's leadership, in particular, by publishing the "Derkach tapes" about Kyiv's influence on the 2019 US presidential election.

The People's Deputy himself called the case against him fabricated and based on empty statements.
