Ukraine suffers losses, but traffic to Great Odesa ports has not stopped even after Russia's attacks

Ship traffic to the ports of Great Odesa through the corridor organized by Ukraine in the Black Sea continues both outbound and inbound, despite the November 8 attack by Russia on a civilian ship in one of the ports with an X-31P anti-radar missile. This was reported by the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine.

As of November 9, 6 ships with 231,000 tons of agricultural products on board have left the ports of Great Odesa toward the Bosphorus, and 5 more are waiting to be loaded.

"The movement through the corridor did not stop despite Russia's systematic attacks on port infrastructure," the ministry emphasized.

It is noted that since August 8, 2023, 91 ships have exported 3.3 million tons of agricultural and metal products, 116 ships have entered the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi for loading.

"The defense forces are doing everything possible to counter the aggressor country's attacks on port infrastructure. The world has already realized that the principles of international law do not exist for the aggressor country, and we are grateful to our partners for their support with air defense systems," the statement said.
