Ukraine's attempt to organize an international summit is complicated by the conflict in the Middle East

Israel's war with Hamas "undermines Ukraine's hopes for a peace summit". This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.

In the coming months, Ukraine wanted to organize an international summit with the participation of the countries of the "global South", neutral in the Russian war with Ukraine, to persuade them to support the "Zelensky Peace Formula", which provides for the withdrawal of all Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.

However, Israel's air strikes on the Gaza Strip and the West's position, which remained on Israel's side, led to accusations of hypocrisy and unwillingness to cooperate with it.

Thus, Ukraine's attempts to organize a global summit have so far been unsuccessful.
