The number of Ukrainian casualties in Israel has increased. Currently, 21 people are known to have been killed and 1 missing. This was announced by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Nikolenko, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
According to Nikolenko, according to confirmed information, there are currently 21 Ukrainians killed and 1 missing in Israel.
In particular, in the Gaza Strip: 3 dead - two children and an adult; 6 wounded, including 3 children. The Ukrainians have injuries of varying severity and are currently receiving medical care.
There are 357 Ukrainians, including 208 women, who want to evacuate from the Palestinian enclave. Diplomatic institutions are in constant contact with them.
"At the same time, the Rafah crossing point on the border between Gaza and Egypt is not yet operational. There is no way to leave yet. This applies not only to our citizens, but also to citizens of other countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, together with its partners, is working with the parties involved to get permission for the speedy evacuation of people," Nikolenko added.
