IDF conducts tank raid in Gaza Strip

The Israeli Defense Forces conducted a targeted raid using tanks in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The IDF reports that it struck terrorists and infrastructure.

The raid took place on the night of October 26 in preparation for the next stages of the fighting, the IDF writes.

The raid was led by the 84th Givati Brigade, an infantry brigade that was stationed in the Gaza Strip before the Israeli withdrawal in 2005.

"During the fighting, the soldiers identified and struck numerous terrorists, terrorist infrastructure and anti-tank missile launchers, and conducted a battlefield preparation operation," the Israeli army said.

After the raid, the military left the territory, the agency concludes.
