Ukraine's Ambassador informed about evacuation of almost 340 Ukrainian citizens from Gaza, about 500 more remain

Almost 340 Ukrainians have agreed to evacuate from the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the actual number of Ukrainian citizens who remain in the region is about 500. This was reported by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk on Radio Liberty.

It was noted that the Rafah crossing point on the border with Egypt could be opened for foreigners tomorrow.

The ambassador emphasized that the situation is very difficult and stressed that the embassy only forms evacuation lists, submitting them to the Israeli and Egyptian sides for approval, and waits for the citizens to be evacuated.

In addition, the embassy also coordinates the evacuation of citizens of other countries from the Gaza Strip, including Moldovans, Bulgarians and others.
