The Armenian authorities are considering the possibility of closing down Russian state-owned TV channels in connection with violations. This was stated by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Robert Khachatryan in the News.am edition.
Khachatryan noted that "appropriate steps" will be taken in response to the violation of the agreement, but the details of these measures will be disclosed later.
In this regard, the minister was also asked to comment on rumors about the possible closure of Russian TV channels in Armenia.
"All topics are discussed, there is an agreement that provides for appropriate steps. If there are any violations, we will take these steps," Khachatryan replied.
