American special services have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the strike on a hospital in Gaza. This was reported by CNN with reference to Israeli officials.
"There were negotiations between the Israeli side and the American side. We have shared the knowledge we have, the information we have with the Americans," said Mark Regev, an adviser to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
US President Joe Biden said that he was "outraged and deeply saddened by the explosion at the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the Gaza Strip" and that the US would continue to gather information about what happened.
"I have spoken with King Abdullah II of Jordan and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and directed my national security team to continue to gather information about what exactly happened," Biden wrote on the X (Twitter).
He emphasized that the United States unequivocally supports the protection of civilians.

As we reported earlier, on the evening of October 17, Hamas claimed that Israel had struck a hospital in the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring a large number of people. Israel denies any involvement and claims that the rocket was launched from Palestine.
