The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has adopted a resolution recognizing Russian President Vladimir Putin as a dictator and the aggressor country as a dictatorship. This was reported on Telegram by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
The resolution was adopted with the support of 43 MEPs.
The PACE also proposed additional measures, including recognizing Putin as illegitimate after his current term ends and restricting contacts with him.
The organization called on the member states of the ICC Statute to arrest Putin when he comes under its jurisdiction on the basis of an arrest warrant.
It also reaffirmed its support for the creation of a special tribunal to review the immunity of the "troika".
MP Oleksiy Honcharenko also proposed an amendment to recognize self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko as a dictator.
