There are about 450 Ukrainians in Israel and the Gaza Strip who have applied to the operational headquarters because they cannot leave the war zone. This information was announced by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, during a telethon.
"As for the Ukrainians who contacted the operational headquarters due to the inability to leave Israel due to the cancellation of flights, we have a figure of approximately 300 citizens in Israel, as well as 150 Ukrainians in the Gaza Strip who have expressed a desire to leave," the Foreign Ministry spokesman said.
He also emphasized that over the past three days, the operational headquarters has received more than 700 appeals from citizens. Over the past day, Ukrainian diplomats found 7 Ukrainians in the south of Israel who were previously considered missing. They are safe now. Six families were also assisted in finding temporary housing in Israel.
Information about the possible death of three Ukrainians is being checked: two in Israel and one in the Gaza Strip.
