On Tuesday, October 10, the Russian army launches a massive artillery and tank attack on Avdiivka, Donetsk region. Two people were wounded and an apartment building was destroyed. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.

Donetsk publics write that Russians have been shelling Avdiivka since about five o'clock in the morning.

Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko said that Russian troops are continuously shelling residential areas of Avdiivka with both artillery and aircraft.

"Avdiivka. Russians have been continuously shelling residential areas with both artillery and aircraft since 5 am. Bastards. They are turning everything into Mariupol and Bakhmut," he wrote.

It is worth noting that Russian military publics are reporting the beginning of a ground offensive and the advance "200 meters" northwest of Avdiivka to cut one of the roads to the city. There is no other confirmation of this. Ukraine has not confirmed this either.

Avdiivka authorities confirm that Russia has been conducting massive attacks on the city since 6 am.

"Massive shelling from tanks, barrel artillery and grenades has been going on since 06:00. Heavy fighting continues to the north of the city," said Vitaliy Barabash, head of the Civil-Military Administration.

So far there is no information on casualties. Two people were wounded yesterday and an apartment building was destroyed. They were attacking with airplanes, artillery and Grad rockets.
