The mayor of Sumy, Oleksandr Lysenko, has been released from a pre-trial detention center after posting bail of UAH 3 million. The information was reported by the Suspilne, citing a comment from the press service of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
The ransom for Lysenko was paid on Tuesday, October 5.
Earlier, we reported that Sumy Mayor Oleksandr Lysenko and the director of the city's Infrastructure Department were charged with receiving illegal benefits in the amount of UAH 2.13 million. This was reported by the NABU.
