The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with representatives of the IMF mission and discussed a four-year financing program for Ukraine. This was reported in an official statement by Shmyhal.
"The first visit of the IMF mission to Ukraine in more than three years. We discussed the steps necessary to implement a four-year program with the Fund worth $15.6 billion," he wrote.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that Ukraine is actively cooperating with its partners to implement reforms and continues to work on economic development.
During the meeting, Shmyhal told IMF representatives about the country's key directions, including attracting investment, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and public-private partnerships.
They also discussed cooperation within the framework of the multilateral donor coordination platform.
The Prime Minister provided the IMF mission with information on Ukraine's financial needs to cover the budget deficit and restore the country.
He emphasized that Ukraine is actively working with partners to ensure the economic stability of the state.
