Information about the shelling of a Ukrainian thermal power plant by Russian occupiers on the night of September 28 is false. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
The Ministry of Energy said that all thermal power plants located in the territory controlled by Ukraine continue to operate and are actively preparing for the upcoming heating season. The restoration and repair works started after the shelling last winter are also continuing.
Last night, a combined heat and power plant in one of the cities in the south of the country was damaged by shelling. The CHPP was not working at the time of the shelling. There was a fire in a warehouse, which was extinguished by rescuers.
