Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that Russia is trying to create the illusion of power, but its "show offs" mean nothing.
He noted that the assessments of Western "sovietologists" and "Kremlinologists" often differ from Ukrainian ones. In particular, Ukrainians are always confident in their statements. Podolyak also mentioned how the conclusions of key world intelligence agencies about the "fall of Kyiv in three days" actually failed.
He also noted that Ukrainians have a more realistic perception of modern Russia and understand that "the post-Soviet Russia of the era of dictator Vladimir Putin is a large factory for the production of exported "show offs" that are a way of hypercompensating for their own complexes."
Podolyak also emphasized that Western analysts often assess Russia through the prism of the Cold War, which makes their forecasts unreliable.
"Remember. All Russian policy is based on a well-known idea: "fear takes a molehill for mountains". Do not buy into Russian "show offs". There is nothing behind them. This has been proven by the cruiser Moscow, the S-400 Triumph air defense system, and the Kinzhal "hypersonic" missiles," the adviser said.
