The appeal regarding Kolomoiskyi's arrest was postponed to September 25

The appeal regarding Kolomoisky's arrest, scheduled for today, has been postponed to September 25. Defense lawyer Oleksandr Lysak announced the postponement and said that the hearing would begin at 12:40, media reports said.

According to Kolomoisky's defense, the appeal hearing was postponed because the full text of the first instance court decision will be available only tomorrow. Without this text, the appeal cannot be considered.

It is noted that Kolomoisky was not brought to the hearing from the SBU detention center. The lawyer expressed dissatisfaction with this fact: "Why is this strange? All the technical issues were agreed yesterday, that Kolomoisky personally wants to be present at the meeting. Today we heard from the prosecutor that he does not know why he was not brought at all. The prosecutor provides procedural guidance and it is not known why the person was not brought to court. We will now make the appropriate inquiries and find out why he was not brought to the courtroom."

As a reminder, Kolomoisky was arrested on bail of UAH 509 million until October 31 in the case of fraud and legalization of the proceeds of crime.
