Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has expressed an opinion that Ukraine faces major problems due to the difference in mobilization potential with Russia.
In an interview with American host Tucker Carlson, Orban said: "There is an opinion in the United States that Ukraine will win this war. This does not seem to be true".
He emphasized that Ukraine would have problems with the mobilization of resources, including military reserves, unlike Russia. The prime minister also said that the number of soldiers and their readiness play an important role in the outcome of the conflict.
"This is a lie! It's not just a misunderstanding, it's a lie. It is impossible! Everyone who is involved in politics, who understands logic, numbers, data, knows that this is impossible. This is a tragedy for Ukraine. They will run out of soldiers before Russia does. What will ultimately matter is "boots on the ground." And the Russians are much stronger in numbers, more numerous," Orban said.
Carlson asked where Ukraine could recruit more soldiers from.
"This is the most dangerous question. If any Western country sends its troops, it will mean a direct war between the West and Russia. And we will immediately find ourselves in World War III. This is a very dangerous moment," the prime minister said.
