An employee of a military unit beat a soldier in one of these institutions in Odesa region, as a result of which the victim was hospitalized with head bruises. This is reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.
According to the data, on August 12, the SBI received information about a fight in a military unit that happened, after which the soldier was taken to the hospital. Investigators conducted operational actions on the territory of the unit, seized video recordings, interviewed witnesses and the victim, who is in the hospital.
The victim explained that he had been injured by the person in charge of the military unit.
In this regard, a criminal case was opened on the fact of abuse of power by an official (Article 426-1, paragraph 5 of the Criminal Code). The investigation is ongoing, and all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
