A rocket attack on Pokrovsk in Donetsk region on Monday killed seven people and increased the number of injured to 67. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko, referring to data as of 7:00 a.m. Tuesday.
The message posted on Telegram reads: "As a result of the incident, 7 people died and the number of injured reached 67, including 29 police officers, seven rescuers and two children."
Klymenko emphasized that due to the high probability of new shelling at night, the work on the demolition of rubble was stopped, but currently the work has been resumed.
Earlier, the head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, Serhiy Dobryak, reported seven dead and 57 injured as a result of the incident.

In Pokrovsk, 81 people have been injured after Iskanders shelled the city center, RMA reports.
Among them: 39 civilians, including two children born in 2006 and 2012, 31 policemen, 7 rescuers and 4 soldiers.
7 people died: five civilians, a rescuer and a soldier.
12 multistorey buildings, a hotel, a prosecutor's office, a pension fund, a pharmacy, two shops, two cafes and two civilian cars were damaged.
