The presidents of Turkey and Russia will discuss in August the revival of the Black Sea grain initiative

According to information from a local diplomatic source, the meeting between the presidents of Turkey and Russia, Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin, which is scheduled for August, will focus on the restoration of the Black Sea grain initiative, russian media reports.

Ankara hopes to reach important agreements at this meeting, because otherwise world grain prices will continue to rise.

Also, the President of Turkey intends to offer Vladimir Putin to resume peace talks regarding Ukraine with the aim of an early ceasefire.

It will be recalled that Russia refused to extend the "grain agreement", the term of which expired on July 17.
