 People's deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak added in Telegram that "as of today, May 8 is officially a holiday and the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945."

 

 President Volodymyr Zelenskyі submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada establishing May 8 as the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939-1945, and signed a decree establishing May 9 as Europe Day in Ukraine.
