The first 20 Ukrainian pilots will begin F-16 training in Britain

About 20 Ukrainian pilots will begin the first stage of training on F-16 fighters in Great Britain.

This was reported by Foreign Policy with reference to an unnamed representative of the British government.

"This will be basic ground training of Ukrainian pilots, after which they will be ready for more specialized training in controlling F-16 fighters (or other military aircraft)," said the interlocutor.

Ukraine hopes to send those who are already fluent in English to study to speed up the training process.

Training from NATO's "Introduction to the Basics of Fighter Control" course will include simulators and real aircraft.
