The press service of the US State Department noted that they also discussed the counteroffensive of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, including how the participation of international partners can contribute to its success.
Blinken said that Ukraine's sovereignty is "vitally important for peace and security in Europe" and reaffirmed the US commitment to call on Russia to respond, the report said. He also emphasized President Biden's promise to support Ukraine as long as necessary, the State Department reported.
"Nice to talk with my friend [Ukrainian] Foreign Minister Kuleboy today about how the United States can continue to support Ukraine's military efforts. The United States is committed to supporting Ukraine as long as necessary," Blinken wrote on Twitter.
