Brazil can play an important role in stopping Russian aggression. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Melnyk wrote about this on his Twitter following the meeting in Kyiv with the adviser to the President of Brazil, Celso Amorim.

 "Brazil can play an important role in stopping Russian aggression and achieving a strong and just world," said Melnyk.

 He added that Ukraine and Brazil seek to restore strategic partnership.

 Amorim arrived today in the capital of Ukraine to present the peace proposals of Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
