The participation of the leaders of a number of countries in the event on Red Square in Moscow is immoral and cruel in relation to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On Tuesday, May 9, the leaders of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan were present on Red Square in Moscow together with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
During his speech, Putin tried to justify the murders of Ukrainians, the destruction of Ukrainian towns and villages, the kidnapping of Ukrainian children, and the repression of residents of the captured Ukrainian territories.
"On the night before the meeting, the Russian Federation launched 25 cruise missiles over Ukraine, including 15 over Kyiv, in order to cause even more deaths and cause even more destruction on Ukrainian soil. The participants were shown Russian military equipment, which has been participating in an unprovoked war of aggression for the tenth year in a row Russia against Ukraine," the report said.
The department stated that they consider the participation of the leaders of the specified foreign countries in the event together with the war criminal as an immoral and unfriendly step towards Ukraine, a manifestation of contempt for the Ukrainian people, who are fighting for their survival and freedom.
"The peoples of Central Asia and the Caucasus made an invaluable contribution to the victory over Nazism 78 years ago. They do not deserve the fate of being used now by the Kremlin to participate in a false action that has nothing to do with the feat of the victors over Nazism," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
We will remind that the so-called "Victory Parade" took place today in Red Square in Moscow. During which the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin declared that the war in Ukraine is a catastrophe and that it was allegedly "not started by Russia".
Also, this year's so-called "Victory Parade" in Moscow became one of the smallest in history. It was opened by the T-34 museum tank, and aviation was not in the program at all.
