The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Catherine Colonna, expressed her concern about the calls of the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmytro Medvedev, to assassinate the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, after the drone attack on the Kremlin.
She stated this on Radio France.
"Medvedev once again distinguished himself with outrageous statements, a verbal escalation that causes regret. Again, this escalation comes from Russia, again he is trying to intimidate, to find excuses that could justify the unjustified," the head of the French Foreign Ministry noted.
The day before, the press service of the Kremlin announced that Ukrainian drones "tried to strike" the Kremlin residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin called the attack a "planned terrorist action" and "an attempt on the President of Russia."
The press secretary of President Zelenskyi, Serhii Nikiforov, said that Ukraine has no information about the so-called night attacks on the Kremlin.
After the attack, Medvedev called for the "physical elimination" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his entourage.
