Last day, the Russian invaders carried out 82 shellings on peaceful settlements in the Zaporizhzhya region. There was a lot of destruction, but there were no victims. This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhya RMA Yuriy Malashko in Telegram.
"The noisy day for the entire Zaporizhzhya region has ended. The enemy launched 82 attacks on peaceful settlements: 2 missile strikes, 3 air strikes, 4 UAV attacks and 69 artillery strikes," Yuriy Malashko said.
According to him, the front-line settlements: Novoyakovlivka, Orihiv, Gulyaipole and 13 other villages survived the many-hour shelling. There was a lot of destruction in various communities: houses, property, social infrastructure and utility networks were on fire.
"But the main thing is that people survived. Take care while our defenders work to liberate the region from racist evil!" - added the head of Zaporizhzhya RMA.
As a result of the attack on Zaporizhzhya, one house was completely destroyed, two were heavily damaged, and about 40 windows were broken and roofs were damaged. There were no victims or injured. According to the head of the RMA, specialists immediately started liquidating the consequences and are providing all the necessary assistance to the victims.
On the night of May 3, 2023, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made kamikaze drones from the north (Bryansk region) and from the south - the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov. In total, the invaders used up to 26 Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 21 attack UAVs.
