Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, people's deputy from "Servants of the People" Fedor Venislavskiy, commenting on the downing of the AN-26 transport plane in Zaporozhye region in the morning, said that "this is another crime of the Russian Federation, shooting down peaceful civilian aircraft." He said this on one of the TV channels.
"This is a civilian plane, which had nothing to do with the Armed Forces. This is another crime of the Russian Federation shooting down peaceful civilian planes. This airline, which made a technical flight of this plane, has nothing to do with military actions," Venislavsky said.
On April 21, the Zaporizhzhya RSA reported that the Russian occupiers launched two missile strikes on Zaporizhzhya. The blast wave from the enemy strike blew out several windows in a passenger train from Zaporizhzhya to Lviv.
Eight people were injured in the rocket attack on Zaporizhzhya.
