The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyі, had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Chris Hipkins.

The President thanked New Zealand for its participation in the training of Ukrainian servicemen. He also hopes for its continuation and further cooperation with the country in defense and humanitarian affairs.
Politicians also discussed the need for further consolidation of the countries of the Pacific region in support of Ukraine.
It will be recalled that at the end of 2022, the Minister of Defense of New Zealand Pini Henare came to Ukraine. He met with his Ukrainian colleague Oleksiy Reznikov.
In addition, New Zealand extended the "special visa" for refugees from Ukraine until March 2024.
