According to the Hydrometeorological Center, there is a seasonal rise in the water level in the Dnipro, Desna, Seim, Pripyat, Horyn and Zahidny Bug rivers in the territories of the Volyn, Kyiv, Rivne, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
As of the morning of April 15, about 500 households (gardens, yards) remain flooded.
As the State Emergency Service notes, for monitoring and coordination of actions in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, mobile operational groups are involved, which carry out aerial reconnaissance of flooded areas using UAVs.
Also, five Bohun waders and two watercraft were additionally sent to Chernihiv Oblast from other regions. In total, more than 280 people and 157 units of emergency services were involved in overcoming the consequences of the flood.
The press service of the State Emergency Service added that since the beginning of the work, rescuers have delivered 24.1 tons of drinking water and 230 kg of food products for the needs of the affected population, transported more than one thousand people through water obstacles, pumped out about 10,000 cubic meters. water from 74 households.
