A 53-year-old man set himself on fire in front of the building of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Krakow.

 This is reported by RMF24.

 The incident happened around 7:50 am.

 The 53-year-old Ukrainian shouted calls in Ukrainian to return to his homeland and defend the country from the Russians. He addressed his words to the Ukrainian men who gathered in front of the consulate.

 Most likely, as a sign of protest, he doused himself with a flammable substance and set himself on fire.

 The man was extinguished by passers-by.

 He was taken to the hospital - at that time he was conscious. Doctors assess his condition as serious.

 The police are working at the scene, the prosecutor's office has been informed about the incident.
