Polish police broke up the farmers' blockade of rails on the border with Ukraine

Polish police officers broke up a protest announced at 10:00 a.m. by farmers who were supposed to block the broad-gauge railway line in Hrubeszów, through which grain from Ukraine enters Poland.

This is reported by RMF FM.

Earlier, farmers abandoned plans to block the Polish-Ukrainian border crossing in Dorohusk, as they did not agree with the trade union on this form of action. Leaders of farmers' organizations do not trust the promises of the new Minister of Agriculture to stop the flow of Ukrainian grain to Poland.

Farmers were supposed to join the protest at 10:00 a.m. and block the railway track in Hrubeszów, through which grain from Ukraine reaches Poland. As the head of the Agrounia organization, Michal Kolodzejczak, said earlier, the protest action was announced for seven days, but the farmers are ready to continue it.

Meanwhile, according to RMF FM, the protest did not take place. Police officers prevented the road from being blocked.
