Denmark will have to have a dialogue about the planes with the Americans. A decision may be made in the near future.

Denmark does not rule out that the West's decision on the possible provision of combat aircraft to Ukraine will be made by the summer, after the delivery of the MiG-29 by the Poles and Slovaks.

This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the country, Trols Lund Poulsen, reports Le Figaro.

"Denmark is not going to do it alone. We will have to do this with several countries. And on this occasion, we will also have to conduct a dialogue with the Americans," he said.

Poulsen believes that a decision can be made in the near future.

It will be recalled that Poland has already transferred four MiG-29s to Ukraine, several more are in the process of transfer.

Slovakia also handed over the first batch of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.

In addition, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Urmas Reinsalu, did not rule out that his country could acquire US-made F-16 fighters in order to transfer them to Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that Bulgaria is not conducting negotiations on the free supply of its MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. But she is ready to exchange them for modern aircraft from the allies.
