The next meeting, the eleventh in a row, of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine will be held at the American Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
As "Interfax-Ukraine" reports, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, told journalists about this on Wednesday.
"This will be the eleventh Ramstein, it will be held at the Ramstein base," the minister said during a conversation with journalists after the presentation of the state anti-corruption program for 2023-2025.
He added that the main priority of the Ukrainian delegation will remain air defense systems. The issue of providing Ukraine with armored vehicles and shells for 155-caliber heavy artillery and means of radio-electronic warfare will also be raised.
Reznikov did not specify when "Rammstein" will take place.
We will remind you that the "Ramstein" format, which unites more than 50 countries of the world, was launched with the aim of collective support for Ukraine to meet the defense needs of the Ukrainian army in the face of a full-scale Russian invasion.
The previous, tenth meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine took place online, as a result of which the participants agreed to strengthen Ukrainian air defense and armored units.
