HACC announced that People's Deputy Shakhov was wanted

The higher anti-corruption court announced a wanted list of people's deputy Serhiy Shakhov, who is accused of not declaring property worth 88 million UAH. This is reported by SAP.

"On March 31, 2023, at the request of the SAP prosecutor, the HACC panel of judges declared a wanted deputy, who is hiding from the court. The organization of the search has been entrusted to the prosecutor of the SAPS," the report says.

It is emphasized that the specified people's deputy repeatedly did not come to court sessions without valid reasons. On November 22, 2022, HACC ordered the specified person to pay a fine of more than UAH 5,000 for failure to appear before the court session and failure to comply with the legal requirements of the court. A similar decision was adopted on January 17, 2023 - two maximum possible fines in the amount of more than UAH 10.7 thousand. However, on February 21, 2023, the People's Deputy again ignored the meeting. In view of the non-appearance, the court decided to bring the accused to court.

"At the same time, the people's deputy ignores the court's decision and is still hiding from justice. Taking into account the announcement of the said People's Deputy as wanted, HACC decided to stop production until he is searched," the message emphasizes.

In February, the High Anti-Corruption Court ordered Shakhov to be forcibly brought to court.

Shakhov is accused of declaring false information.
