The Kremlin believes that Russia's war against Ukraine will last a long time. In Moscow, they explain their predictions with the narrative that they are "not fighting with Ukrainians, but supposedly with the West."
This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian dictator Dmytro Peskov.
In particular, he dodged the question of whether the war against Ukraine could end this year, noting that "such assessments should be given by specialists who deal with the SVO (war - ed.) - in the Ministry of Defense."
"And if you mean the war in a broad context - a confrontation with hostile states, unfriendly countries, this hybrid war that has been unleashed on our country, then it is for a long time. And here we need firmness, loyalty to ourselves, purposefulness, unity around the president ", - Peskov threw out another delusion.
It will be recalled that earlier the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Serhiy Shoigu expressed the opinion that Russia's war against Ukraine will allegedly "continue until the tasks set by Putin are fully fulfilled."
