The higher anti-corruption court did not choose a preventive measure for People's Deputy Dmytro Isayenko

The higher anti-corruption court started hearing the request of the SAP to choose a preventive measure for the suspect in an attempt to illegally take over the land and property of the State Construction Combine of People's Deputy Dmytro Isayenko and postponed the case.

During the meeting on March 15, the prosecutor read part of the indictment. According to the version of the investigation, Isaenko sought to get a plot belonging to the construction plant of the parliament for development. For this purpose, he involved a group of people (according to the prosecutor, currently 4 people have been notified of suspicion in the "Isaenko case") and developed a scheme aimed at the development of the plot belonging to the combine

An enterprise development plan has been developed for the legalization of the scheme. One of the development options, according to this plan, provided for a change in the purpose of the land plot belonging to the enterprise and "write-off of real estate." The plot was planned to be acquired at an undervalued price.

The prosecutor also cited fragments of the protocols of secret investigative actions. In one of them, according to the investigation, Dmytro Isaenko appears, who is called by another person Dmytro Valeriyovych

For their part, Isaenko's lawyers regularly referred to the prosecution's evidence as conjecture. In particular, reacting to the fact that Dmytro Valeriyovych, an individual, appears in the protocol, one of the defenders noted:

"However, how do we know that this is Isaenko," one of the defenders emphasized.

Another defender noted that the contents of the protocols on the NRRD contradict each other.

As for the strategic plan, the deputy's defender noted that it bears the signature of Volodymyr Slishynskyi (ex-First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Parliament). He also added that the financial situation of the combine was deplorable.

"Salary arrears amount to 4 million hryvnias... Claim work was not conducted regarding receivables," he emphasized.

The defense attorney added that house construction was indeed planned on the site of the plant and part of the apartments were planned to be handed over to employees of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada.

"What is criminal in this," asked the lawyer

As a result, the court postponed consideration of the petition.

The National Anti-corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office reported the suspicion of People's Deputy of the "Restoration of Ukraine" group, Dmytro Isaenko, in an attempt to illegally seize land and property of the State Construction Combine.

According to the investigation, at the beginning of 2020, the people's deputy had a plan to take over the plot on which the State Construction Plant was located in order to build a residential complex there. For this purpose, he entered into a conspiracy with the employees of the state-owned enterprise and the then deputy head of the VRU Apparatus, whose sphere of management included the mentioned state enterprise.
